Privacy Policy

1. Data we collect

• Account: email, name, password (encrypted), preferred language, or Google sign-in data if you use Google Sign-In.
• Documents: files you upload to your vault and documents generated for your procedures.
• AI conversations: your exchanges with the assistant and data extracted from your documents at your request.
• Payment: handled by Stripe (we never store your card numbers; we keep your subscription status).
• Technical: usage logs needed for security and proper operation of the service.

2. Why we use it

To provide the service (procedures, storage, AI assistant, document generation), manage your subscription, send service emails (confirmation, password reset), ensure security, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your data.

3. Our processors

We share data only with the providers necessary to run the service:

• Supabase — database and file hosting (us-east-1 region, USA)
• Anthropic — processing of AI assistant conversations and document extractions
• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — service email delivery
• Google — if you choose Google sign-in

Each operates under its own privacy and security commitments.

4. Retention

Your data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data, documents, and conversations are deleted, except where retention is legally required (for example billing records).

5. Your rights

You can access your data, export it, and delete your account. These functions are available in the app or on request at contact@equilibrellc.com. Depending on where you live (for example EU/GDPR or California/CCPA), you may have additional rights; we honor requests in accordance with applicable law.

6. Security

Encryption in transit (HTTPS), strict data access control (each user can only access their own data), restricted-access document vault. No system is infallible, but security is built into the service by design.

7. Cookies

Formalis only uses cookies and local storage required for operation (login session, language preference). No advertising cookies.

8. Minors

The service is intended for people aged 18 and over.

9. Changes

If this policy changes significantly, we will notify you by email or in the app.
